Solid knowledge

Have solid knowledge of the principles and techniques of ABA therapy, including the planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized programs.

Communication skills

Be able to adapt your communication style to the individual needs of each child and be able to clearly explain treatment concepts and goals to parents and other team members.

Empathy and patience

Be able to understand the needs and emotions of autistic children, adapt to their individual rhythms and maintain a positive and compassionate attitude at all times.

Flexibility and adaptability

Autistic children present a wide range of needs and challenges, so it is crucial that the ABA therapist has the ability to adapt to different situations and adjust treatment plans as needed.
